there about Ł60 each , they have been reproduced but they dont seem to be easily available , probably to keep the prices up

As said above; door moulding still available, wing mouldings obsolete.

Get mouldings from a lesser model, ghia or gls etc. Sure Ford still do them, and they will probably be cheaper. The middle strip (usually chrome effect) should be the only difference, then paint them.
I sprayed my mouldings Matt Black before refitting. Look a million times better and dont fade either. Do the roof rails and rear pillar mouldings Matt Black also, to match.
