Default fiesta 16v temp sensor location

might be looking no further than the end of my nose but can i fook find it? 2002 zetec s

looking around the usual plase right side of cylinder head cant see the fooker



got startup probs it misses for few secs, hot or cold if left for more than couple mins

Underneath of the thermostat housing? The hose from the right side of the radiator should join there.

Its the cylinder head temperature sensor, and it fits in the middle of the head between no 2 and 3 spark plug!

i was too to be honest i thought it would be one sensor does all type thing.


ive now broke the fucker removing it aswell so i need a new one anyway lol

As already said its on top of the head inbetween cyl 2 n 3.

He was, it only has one sensor, which provides a signal to the ecu, then from the ecu on to the gauge

well it didnt fix it still misses, i would be tempted to say headgasket seeping a little water in

but its lost no water atall, and when it starts up misses for a few secs it doesnt smell right from exhaust hence my initial thought of ect sensor
