Saw it listed a little while ago as 250bhp, its back on now as 280bhp.
messaged the guy to see if he had a dyno print out. the reply i got was "there is no dyno, power is proof"
is it possible to get these power levels from mfi? Ive been told that about 220bhp is peak for mfi?

Yeah, this car belongs to a guy who is a complete dreamer!! not on mfi, and standard intercooler!!! wasnt there something about the D reg cars that the steel used was bad quality or left outside for ages therefore making it prone to rust??
skip over this car if i were you. im sure someone will buy it though. feel sorry for them, cause no dount it will go bang at some point very soon, as he probably wound up the boost as far as poss, and I doubt its been set up correctly and it looks like a shed.

AndyRST made 230bhp at Powers and SCA on MFI and about 18psi I think. Mine managed 202 bhp before the clutch went

I could tell you what the power is by driving it
It does look fucking hideous I must say, it could be a 1.9 engine in there which could be capable of 280 ? DaveEscCos's old RS Turbo was 250ish on the 1.9 lump, however that didn't have a standard cooler. If I lived closer I'd go have a look
