Boost control units?
Evening all.
I'v just been out with a mate having a cheeky in lil smoke, when out in his car and he's got a mr2 turbo and its filled with jap electronics. He's just got a very tick lil new device, in dash screen thingy that tells him all sorts and he can change the boost on this up or down, now this thing cost him big money and I'm not thinking any thing like this but could a electronic boost control unit be fitted to a mfi rs turbo or am I a lil too stoned and dreaming?

An electronic boost controller can be fitted to an RS Turbo yes, however, not all of the functions will be available to you such as Throttle Position, Injector Duty etc.
However, as a device to adjust your boost at the touch of a button, yes it can be done.
Motorsport Developments can supply, fit and setup an Apexi AVCR boost controller for £500 inc VAT.
