my dealings with a ebay joker...
I sold a motherboard to someone ages ago in august
He kicked up a fuss when I said I would wait until his paypal funds was in my current account then Id send it - obviously he was in a rush for it!
Anyhoo I got this email from him today:
"hiya simon, i bought a motherboard from you back in august and have finaly
got round to using it only to find that the graphics card slot it faulty.
In you discription you say that its in good working order.
I am not very happy.
Please refund my money and i will return you the board.
Thank you
paul"
I personally think this is total bollocks. The mobo was fine when I sent it and he obviously wanted it asap.
Anyway, after finding out he aint got a no chance of trying to con his money back off of me I sent him this:
Dear Paul!
I tell you what mate you have made my christmas!!
I been feeling a bit down - split up with the girlfriend etc etc its not been a good year.
Then I got your email!!!!
Mate you are a total joker!! You hastled me no end about getting the mobo sent to you asap! You obviosuly wanted it really badly!
You now tell me - 6 months on that it dont work!!! I personally reckon you broke it! Probably buy trying to put a cheese sandwich in the AGP slot or something as equally ridiculous!
It was in perfect working order when I sent it!!
Anyway dude, I will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, be refunding your money.
Please find attached a picture of me sending my christmas wishes!
Also you can catch me DJ'ing on www.newtechpirates.com on a sunday afternoon 4 - 6pm playing the best in hardcore and oldskool! I got a chatroom too so feel free to tune in and check out me in all my glory!

i have a similar problem with an ebay joker atm
sent him a chair and he said it arrived broken but the courier knew nothing about it and he turned down my offer to hand deliver it lol

To be honest he can come round. He has my address from ebay - i have nothing to hide!
Saying that though it would be very bad for his health as there is a lot of metal work in this house!
