we have a cream carpets throughout our house and the lounge one is fucked so it gunna need a clean

so we are going to get a cleaner as we will do the whole house but what to get ?

any ideas

rug dr from morrisons or b&q quite cheap to hire and i found they worked brilliantly

also used it to clean the gray seats in my old bmw

i used the rug doctor on my cream carpter, as i have 16mth old child, he likes to paint the carpet with food..lol

came up really well

only issue we had was it made it quite damp and smelt damp for a bout 7days, other than that it was ok

he put the heating on after a day or so to help dry it, much better then

maybe we went over the same area a few times, to much, but otherwise very good

Cheers for the advice but in the end I went for a George wet vac
got from a local trade shop(A1 cleaning & hygiene supplies)for £175 with 5ltrs of cleaner B&q wanted £220 so got a bargain and it works a treat

also got some micro fibre cloths for £1.50 each

The shop on the A30 near Audi's? I get a lot of cleaning stuff from there too, couple of old bum bandits own it

George is great too mate, had one for a while [for cars] and gets thoroughly abused without complaint

Make sure you follow the instruction on the cleaner though as the one we use has to be diluted 80:1 and if you forget, it makes you choke
