as above iv seen ppl putting it on there cars but i think its a waste of time cause all ppl do is clean the floor with thinners the slap the stuff on which in my eyes is pointless like whats it going to stick to? and it doesnt bonded as good as primer would,justlike to see if you think it stops rust? thanks

Often it can make things worse, as if the seal gets broken it can hold water right next to the metal and encourage rust.

Waxoyl is a better option IME

thats what am thinking cause if theres rust under the ford sealer and u put stone chipover it thers not a cause you'll see it which may lead to a rot floor

or do people still use a rust protection under the paint?

Its just like the painted top of your car? If its painted onto a non rusty base, its fine

In my opinion to do the underside correctly, you need to take it to bare metal, prime, then stonechip, then paint, then waxoil if required. Should leave you with a really well protected floor

yea i wish i never stonechipped my ecos now should of done it with a primer the same color as the org floor was then waxoiled it

but sure whats the point in that? you would be better off just putting wax oil on it!

If the floor is prepared properly it would help prevent rust. Waxoil afterwards and should be fine
