A windage tray is a crank scraper:

Some people mistakenly call a sump baffle a windage tray. Touring Car Spares sells those for 50 pounds.

why would you even need one ? the original design of the windage tray was for engines that the crank would dip into the oil and splash oil about in the crank case, the cossy crank does not do this, so never really seen the need for one on the YB

That's sorta why I mentioned the sump baffle. With 3.4 litres of oil in it and spray bars, the YB doesn't really need a scraper.

Plus it (scraper) could potentially mess up the pickup tolerances since the sump gasket thickness is critical to the pickup getting oil in it.

That's what I think he means, but as said they are obsolete, but all 4wd sierra the same, and all 2wd ones the same regardless of what engine is fitted, found this out only yesterday when ordering some trim clips.
