i put my old dish back up yesterday and got "no signal"....so i phoned India/sky and the bloke on the phone didn't have a fuckn clue what i wanted.....surely they can just pair up the other lnb to the box/card over the phone........i've deffo got a worse picture with the new dish/lnb....

 

grab your remote and go to;

services-system set up-signal test, whats the signal like? may not be lined up 100% so will have no lock, if its out, you can use the readings to line it up, it reads real time signal so plug portable tv in to the box, stcik it by the window near the dish and udjust till signal is 3/4 or over

 

when i checked it had no signal at all and no lock on both signals......so i "thought" it was an lnb issue, but if the dish was only out of line i'll try it again......

 

def not a "pair card" issue mate, if it's no signal then the dish is either not aligned or the LNB is not working (worked at Sky for 9 years, unfortunately not in India though!!)

What about cabling? Is that old? Could be worth replacing?
