I hate and have never understood why Forum "Administrators" require people to register prior to viewing any part of the forum.

Not alot of people like to go to the effort of registering and running the risk of being the only person to have posted something of value.

Exactly our thoughts. Makes me just think "Can't be arsed with all that - I just won't bother"

No harm in setting it up so people can view threads but can't post until registered. Just a few simple clicks in the Admin panel It also helps the yahoo / google bots in searching your content for search engine hits.

You about in St. Neots Cabrio Boy? That reg on the FST looks familiar...
