Default Problem with TDCI mk3 Mondeo

Ive just bought a Mk3 Mondeo TDCI for my business its been great so far with the only couple of niggles are the air con needs regassing and the 12v output is broken. But Today I was driving to pick my mate up and the car hesitated on throttle and the Yellow coil light came on. Now Ive had this with just about every vauxall combi diesel van Ive had and was told it is either the crank sensor or the emissions sensor in the exhaust on those. Has anyone had this issue with there car and found an easy fix or is it going to cost me an arm and a leg at ford?

Cheers in advance for any help on this.

Hope its not ur injectors or injector pump on its way out cos its all electrical, Even the injectors are chipped and need reprograming if you change em, Injectors are near enough Ł200 each for ford ones

Hi m8, it will have gone into what they call limp mode, Its to stop you doing any more damage, needs putting on a comp mate more often than not its a sensor, Cheers

If you take it to an auto electrician and find out what it is give us a ring as we may have the part in stock for a fraction of the price - Ford salvage centre 01226 717401 - next day delivery

and it gets worse...... went out to the car today tried to start it up wouldnt start at all. persisted and it cranked into life blowing blue smoke out everywhere. The smoke calmed down eventully went to move the car as its blocking anouther car in and as soon as I rev it the blue and white smoke re-appears this is followed by the car running very lump when reving and the turbo seeming a lot louder than usual. I cant even get it to ford to have it diagnosed now. Does anyone know where I can get a self diagnose kit to fit my laptop?
