New Exhaust Piccys
Due to failing noise limits at Trackdays when running any decent boost with the 2 Mongooses I have tried, I have had this one of system made by Hayward & Scott.
Not tested yet but hopefully this should shut the fooker up on full boooost!
I should have got some piccys when it was on the ramp, but I am a knob and forgot So these are the best I could do.
Its now ruuning a seperate silenced screamer which exits under the car.
Finishes in twin HUGE boxes! I like these and hopefully they should work.
I made it finish with one 4' pipe though as Twins are HOMO!
Anyone notice something a bit weird about the last picture?

Under the car Brom! Can't you read!
Yes I Know a piccy would be helpful It goes straight down mate, through a small silencer and then into the atmosphere.

Nothing is on the other side! There was a big hole where the fuel tank so thats why we moved sides so we could use those huge twin boxes.
Liking the oil slick tank idea though!

Weight distribution! thats sooo weird, I was thinking about this in bed the other night! sad I Realise
The Fuel tank is normally there Mike, and when Full its gonna be ALOT heavier than 2 exhaust boxes so I would have thought the differences are minimal.
Weight distribution is also pretty irrelevant when you have been kicked off the track for being too noisy as well
Very Quiet at Idle Mike, have not heard it on boost yet. Car ate another set of Champion spark plugs (less than 100miles!! ) and I put some Metro ones in to get in home from Hayward and Scott and I am not sure if they are upto 2 bar of Boost from a GT35
Got some new plugs (thanks Stu ) Will tell you what it sounds like on boost when I get number 3 out!!!

I fail to see how the new Exhaust is going to be more restrictive?? slightly heavier?? maybe... been done so I can run on trackdays, not for performance, ALTHOUGH I bet the new exhaust is alot better than a 3' Mongoose
Screamer is silenced like a normal exhaust with a box. If you aren't going to do trackday then no need to silence.

Porkster, will you need to have the cars map checked? (thinking of Shonky and his exhaust/fuel scenario)
On your car Phil......just use a condom full of fuel zip tied around the screamer pipe - you lift off and up it goes! Guaranteed to get a top speed then .

So answer my question, why would that exhaust be more restrictive!
Bill, car is having another couple of changes next week and then Karl will remap it. It will need MORE fuel at the topend I know, so don't worry about that
Oh, and a quick thanks to all the people that have helped me decide on what to do with the exhaust! I know I was asking some ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz questions, but thanks for listening!!

Porkie.......i was told it goes bang bang bang bang onboost..obviously not hearing one myself like you also it seems...i was asking if it was similar to anti lag as that gones bang bang bang
As to your exhaust i would say those silencers will eat some bhp up over a more straight thru exhaust.......100bhp was a bit exagerated hence the " " smilies

Phil, the flow through those silences will be HIGHER than through one single 3' exhaust box. Think of the cross sectional area of 2x 2.5 inch pipes. Its ALOT more than one 3' pipe and box.
At least thats how my brain works it out!!! (and Karl told me first as well if I'm honest!)
Also check out the lovely 4' pipe after the lambda sensors, nice....

porkie i said the complete system look homo compared to mine the ends just had to be - it would have looked ace with a single 4.5" pipe hanging off the back of a saff! LOL
they are also to "try" to angle the noise slightly away but you never cared about noise.... oh wait you did
dont have any other pics unfortunately - and dont believe the rumours - its a standard 2wd engine in it.

Also has a huge silencer shaped into the boot floor where the spare wheel used to live - and it does seem to work - compared to other cossies on the rollers - not as shiney blingy homo gay as your though
