all the updates I have tried to do recently have failed, they throw various error codes up but nothing I seem to click on will give me a solution to the problem.

Computer has now started crashing every now and again giving me a black screen "Security login failed" or sommat.

Can anyone give me a solution?

 

What version of Windows are you using ?? This sounds like an SQL server message ???

What state is it in now, you don't have to install the updates if you don't want to.
