Default Differences Between mk.1 and mk.2 XR2 Suspension

I know that they have different anti roll bars and same differences in the shocks and stuff but there are there any major changes that were made to the geometry or chassis?

Cheers
James

Rears should be the same (both had an antiroll bar), Mk1 fronts are longer than Mk2 items so if you fit Mk2 front's you'll get an extra 20mm or so drop.

Both can be interchanged though, but be prepared to hunt about for the right springs for the front if you want an even drop all round if your mixing and matching mk1/2.

Rally design will do you any poundage and length springs though.

also the mk2 had a slightly wider track, so i think the bottom ball joints are different and the positioning of the holes in the shock where it bolts to the hub are different between mk1 and mk2 front shocks.
