StevenRW off here's old car cracked 150 at brunters, so have done more than this on the road

If I recall, it had a Power Engineering Head, Piper Cam, MASSIVE intercooler and a reworked metering head (AVA).

AVA set the car up properly too - had 195BHP @ wheels

I dont see this so hard to do if you have the right components. Many RST's can do close to that anyway?

With a MTX75 box and a well built engine and management you should have no problem reaching that figure.

LOL @ you lot

Only S1 as i know to break 150 is oli's...

S2 is what RW had....TOTALLY diff @ 150mph...

I would like to bet that oli's would destroy any CVH to 150mph, but past it is another story

Yeah cause having a mk5 front end aint an S1 LOL....

depends if ya mean STANDARD S1.

U need @ least 250bhp in an S1 to make 150.
The front of an S1 is wank basically.

Anyone got pics of Jamies front end!

From what I remember it didnt look very aerodynamic(Possibly less so than the S1).......Im not convinced that aerodynamics are as big a contributing factor but rather at what rpm peak power is made and pulling it in 5th!

so is 150 pretty much possible for a zvh with probably 250 ish bhp in a series. How would i go about getting my car timed, i am under the impression most these events are invite only for the top boys

AFPMSL...

really andy you got some data and a wind tunnel.......maybe your better at picking the totb team than you are bout aerodynamics
