Default PassionFord dictionary?

Is there any more people like me that dont know what some of the stuff people talk about on here?

Things like:
Map sensors
Wasted spark
Air injectors etc etc

Maybe get a sticky together with useful simple descriptions for some of the less knowledgable members!?

Anyone who is genuinely interested in tuning engines etc, should read ALL of these before they ask any questions IMHO!

http://www.motorsport-developments.co.uk/stus.html

Some of it will be fairly hard going if you are a total newbie, but at least it will get you familiar with terms a bit so that things dont seem like such a foreign language on here in technical threads.

I fucking wish I had a resource like that 15-20 years ago when I was first leaning about engines!

People starting out now, with access to the internet, dont seem to realise how lucky they are!

us less knowledgeable than others might need to know...what if someone says your map sensor is fooked, how the hell are we supposed to know how to fix it or even find it, let alone know what it does

While we're on the topic of a pf dictionary, could someone add the word brought as some of the Essex/London folk seem to think it means to have purchased something

Google works for some people, i hear it has a wealth of information just waiting to be searched for.

As already said Stu's technical articles are a great source of knowledge.
