Ive just bought an A frame and the instructions are shite! Has anyone used one? I cant figure out which way round the pole goes on the wishbone.
Does the pole go infront or behind the wishbone?

Yea that's right, chain pulls it and bar slows it down.
And yes the car has to be legal, only way to transport a car that's not legal is with a trailer cos all the wheels are off the floor.

the poles sit at top of front of wishbone, you will prob find the lugs were chains are attatched are angled, these must point inwards towards engine then chains go around inside out bottom then onto frame, i allways ratchet em tight then drive 20 yards and recheck

i cant make head nor take of that lol, but i rest the poles on the wishbone tops, put chain over so it drops down behind then pull it underside and back up front, chain must come up on inside to save fouling wheel on lock, oh and ffs dont forget to take steeirng lock off
