Default which map sensor would i need

while messing about with my saph today i noticed id snapped the tit of the map sensor so need a new one, its running 420 bhp t4 30 ish psi siemens, so would i get a 3 bar one or ave also seen 5 bar ones, would the part number tell me which one it is? thanks richy

I think you need to know which one your car is mapped for? But i'd imagine its a 3 bar one?

Just check on old one, but as said most likely a 3 bar, despite you being slightly over it will read this high no problem.

would think it would be more power at 30pis on a t4 surely that should be pushing 500 plus(if that held bosst)

not necasarily mate. mine was 32 psi and 7800 rpm limiter and only managed 472. depends on engine spec.

yeah mate mine was working its ass off standard ports exhaust at downpipe used to see over 950 c at times

na mate my cossie days are over. ive lost my cosworth blinkers now and ive realised there is cheaper power available in the form of an rb26dett
i would need a 600 bhp cosworth so as to keep moving forward and that aint going to happen with buying the car and a pro built new engine and whole cost keeping below £10k.
when i can afford it i will have a touring car engine specced rs500 though. prob a few years off though til i can comfortably afford it.

bloody strange! its one thing that will baffle scientist for years!i mean they aint even that a good car anymore yet there is something about them that no other car seems to do !and i dont mean breaking down alot no other car can give you so much pain and joy
