Fiesta turbo 2.0 16v help
my brother is currently having a 2.0 16v zetec conversion done to his fiesta turbo its nearly done but have now run into a problem,he is using one of the rover turbo inlet manifold's and its catching the brake servo?
Any idea how to get around this or how much and where does the inlet need cutting then re welding?
Cheers

the old throttle body on the end of the rover plenum was cut off as in the below pic
idle speed control valve was fitted by drilling and tapping the necessary holes to allow it to screw onto the plenum, a spacer plate was needed to prevent the sensor plug fouling the plenum. a flange to suit the fiesta turbo throttle body was made, and welded onto the end of the open rover plenum chamber
rather than use an adaptor plate i cut the flange that bolts to the cylinder head off the rover inlet
and also cut the flange from a zetec manifold
then welded the two together, the injector ports needed a small amount of weld build up and then have it ground out inside the port
this face was the milled flat at work, this was necessary because when it was welded the flange wasnt bolted down to something solid so it warped and was no longer flat
heres the finished face, all nice and perfectly flat and smooth, it may not look it in the pic but it is 100% true
the finished manifold with all the ancillary's bolted on looks like this :Q
