Default Fair Price?

What would you say was a fair price to pay to have a bonnet (Escort RST) pained both sides? There are a few dents to repair and obviously the paint would need to be blown into the scuttle and wings to match.

Hard one suppose on who use TBH back street jobby's are usually cheaper but i wouldn't wanna be paying more than 250quidfor a superb job .U could buy a new dent free one and have it blown over it cheaper than that hence

Ive been quoted £150 at the shop where my car is currently having other work done. I just thought it was a little on the steep side. Perhaps its not too bad then?

No £150 sounds a pretty good price.

as above would apply if it's just that that there doing but if you having more work done as said above then yeah it's about what we would charge too. but if that was the only thing you wanted to get done then about £250 - £300, it's a lot more work then people think

Ive told hime to go ahead and do the bonnet seems ay everyone seems to think its a reasonable price. I said I was skint and couldnt really afford it till next month but he said it would be best to do it with the other work as the scuttle and one wing will allready be getting paint. He said just pay him when I can afford it

The car will be going back once its running to have a few small jobs done and I will have a bumper for him to paint when I get it.

Hes making a fortune out of me.

you can tell your dad that £70 to spray a bumper is bloody good price, we charge around £100 depending on repairs etc and even then it only covers costs, so that is a very good price
