I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I believe that O2 have lost the sole contract with apple now so am going to wait until next month and see what the deals are like if the iPhone comes out on Orange, with competition the contract deals will hopefully become cheaper.
Not 100% sure about this like but will wait and see...

One of the guys at work kept clinging on to press releases and web articles saying it was coming to Orange 'next' month for about a year before giving up and going to o2. That was about 8 months ago and it still hasn't happened

I read that rumour it may be because TMobile and Orange are merging. Did read another rumour that it was only for the 3G, O2 would keep the 3G S exclusive to them.
Have bought a car kit for mine so will charge that to from work. Mind you will end up listening to the iPod at the same time so won't gain any charge lol.
Good to know that about the number change over, my iPhone lost it's network coverage at 1pm today (was just about to phone someone!) - is that the start of the transfer over??

wel today i've been to the O2 shop and the carphone warehouse and they are both telling me they are out of stock of all the 3GS's. Anyone else having this problem ?

My brother works for 02 and has supplied near enough everyone in the family with one at some point.
They are an amazing piece of kit, no other phone comes close, (this includes blackberrys).
One thing I think the iphone is average at though is actually being a phone, I always struggle to hear people when I use one.

They are an amazing piece of kit, no other phone comes close, (this includes blackberrys).

I'm due a new phone, gonna get the htc hero. Mate has got one and it's some piece of kit!!!
In my veiw the useabilty far better than the iphone, and the andriod software is really good.

Just got a new work Blackberry and its SOOOO much clearer its untrue!
Still love my Iphone though and its the one I always go to pick up to make a call with even though the Blackberry is clearer!
