What do you lot think, seen an s2 thats had a silly amount of money thrown at it and is mint, proven 300bhp at 15psi and could possibly a fair bit more...Do you think £6500 is unrealistic for an s2?

All dependant on taste and how much you want a car imo....personally i'd never swap my series 2 for a saph as i'd feel it was 2nd place to an escos or indeed a 3 door, but i can see why people want so much money for highly modified/mint condition cars. To build any car to a very high standard costs so much more money than most people realise, you could buy a nice standard (ish) series 2 for 3k and i'll guarantee you won't get it up to a top end example with the remaining 3.5k Why all the top cars are broken because people think they're still worth 3k lol

Really depends on a couple of things...
a) is it something you will look to sell after a few months, if so, as it seems strong money for an S2 you may find yourself out of pocket.
b) is the rest of the car minty mint, as you don't want to then spend a bunce getting the car mint after paying top end cash for it.
Personally I would go with the idea of offering lower and leave the offer with him, he may not shift it and take you up on the offer.
I think it is personal taste as to what you like, some will see a saff as being unappealing in comparisson, other will think why try and get that much power of of an escort when you could buy a saff that could do it much more easily.
Others will think why bother with an old ford at all, all personal opinion.

if you think it is worth the money then buy it. but in my opinion you probably couldnt even build one close to that spec for the money. cars that are that good always seem top get broken for parts so owners can claw back some more cash towards what they want to do next

Why spend all that money with Jamie at jamsport then have the management swapped and set up by someone else?
Not a pop at jamie at all, ive used him a fair bit in the past and rate him very very highly..
At the end of the day, if you like it, can afford it, and want it, buy it. Its your money.

Surly the car can run more boost than that, id be running it at 18-20psi personally as long as the box could take it...

I know the guy said he fell out with jamie cos of all the money he spent at jamsport it wasnt running right on go-tech so he went to torque of the devil and had the Omex 600 Pro management fitted.
