Did mine a few years ago and they lasted well. You have to do it properly though, wash, prime and all. then get a grout pen thingy and "paint" the grout line.
You have to be careful when you wash the bathroom. Never use harsh chemicals and don't scratch them. Just damp sponge is enough.
Can't wait to get rid of them now but would mean doing the whole bathroom.....

Yeah, can be done and look good. Try using International paint/primer (should get this anywhere). Also, yeah you can just paint over the grout just make sure there is no flacky mouldy stuff. Then just draw the grout line back in, best to use one of the gloss paint roller to give you a better finish.

Looks pretty good. And yes, you can paint over the grout as long as you "regrout" afterwards!! The grout refresher rollers are really good and usually just fit nicely in the groove.

Men...
Its been a while and really can't remember which paint I used....
BUT
I cleaned the tiles well, then used some white spirit to remove any grease in them. Then I used a Tile primer, let it dry forever..... then applied one coat of tile paint (with a roller actually because I found that with a brush it didn't look so good and even), let it dry forever again..... and then applied a second coat ... which you guessed..... you let dry forever.
I do believe that it is very very important to let the paint dry thoroughly in betweem coats or you WILL get bubbles and the paint will not adhere properly. AND DO NOT STEAM THE BATHROOM for a few days.... so if you do have a spare bathroom, use it!!
A few days later when I was sure the paint was dry... I then did the false grout with a roller. Looked pretty good and still does now. There is one or 2 scratches mainly where I haven't been careful and banged the tiles with a metal object or something.
Oh I also applied a few decals here and there to sort of break the colour.
I honestly don't remember what the make was but I think the pot was red.... I know I know... doesn't help much...
Have fun!!
