i currently have a 3dr cosworth which has been converted to 4X4, my question is how different is an escort cosworth to drive and live with, to be honest my car only goes to car shows and to collect the kids from school on sunny days.

The reason i ask is an escort cosworth fits in the garage on the side of my house but my 3dr doesnt so for that reason gets used less so was thinking of selling my car to fund an escort cosworth.

Drove my mates 4x4 3 door on saturday and my escos feels lighter and alot more nimble than the 3 door does.

Im happy with how mine drives just the fact that it wont fit in the garage at my house, it overhangs by about 1.5inches

don't forget with a escort cos the boot spoilers are whoppers and if your short on space the garage door if its a up and over can twat yer top spoiler if driven in nose first,its amazing how many have marks where the door catches the middle of the spoiler.

my escort fits in the garage so much better than my 3dr, cant compare the drive as my 3dr was proper wheel drive lol

i know the escort cosworth is based on the floor pan of the saphire but as theres no over hang on the front and rear it would fit in my garage fine.

The only off put is when i bought my saphire many years ago the chap i bought it from had just got an escort cosworth, he then bought it back from me 18 months on saying the escort was not as good a road car.
