When we arrived on stand me and my mate Rich both opened our bonnets, to let that heat out if anything
when we decided to go for a walk around we made the decision to shut the bonnets and secure the cars........................................
that proved to be the right decision to make as when we returned to the cars I heard on the tannoy that someone's car has had parts stolen off of it
Last year I heard that a concourse mk2 escort had the fuel tank strap nicked on the concourse stand always seems to be at donny too, cars getting nicked, towing eye covers etc
if I every caught someone touching my car they would be leaving the show in an ambulance
Well out of order and and a warning to each of us decent car enthusiasts, when away from your car secure it, even at shows

Did anyone else hear the other announcement aswell about a lost camera?
"Please can someone return the camera if found as it contains photo's of sentimental value, it was lost somewhere near the childrens play area"
- Quite a few giggles when that announcement went out

sadly not everyone at a car show is a decent enthusiast and so think nothing of helping themselves to a part.
Guess it is one of those things that every stand needs to have someone watching over the cars.

sadly it happens all the time, i remember 1 year in scotland a group of lads were messing around with peoples engines, taking a pic of car and txting there mates outside the show with details of what was wrong with the car, once car was outside they would be carjacked, scumbags obviously knew what was wrong with the car, fixed it then they were off with the car. only have your bonnet up when your with your car.

they are scum
i wont take my car unless its inside on show, but now im worried even more
if you find them, should whip them with ht leads
My mate a few years back had his towing eye cover of his S1 stolen at a show
had my car broken into afew times and its the worst feeling in the world let alone taking to an RS show to have parts stolen
