fantastic shots Ian well done really captures the sensation of speed
I agree - on frozen out high shutter speed shots there is no impression of speed at all - I think shots like this are much more dramatic - the only problem is it can obviously be a bit hit and miss as only 40% of my 450 pics are usable. High shutter speed pretty much guarantees a shot every time - a boring shot - but guaranteed all the same.

Just for the record we aint selling photo's these are for the derbyshire groups promotion and for ian's practise - Can't believe this is his first attempt at track day photography.
I am going to get a disc with all the images on and will upload them over the next week when i get chance.
But it just goes to show, 1 decent photo vs 20 shit ones....i know which one I would choose
Will look forward to you uploading them Dingy, hopefully Ian may have got a photo of mine. And they are much more interesting pic's than the official one's!!All the best,Micky
Can email you the picture as a jpg if pm me ure address - raw file would need me to upload it somewhere to download as its about 20meg. JPG approx 4meg
A very nice set from Ian, I sent him this edit (im bored on the sick) and he doesnt mind if I put it up here, its a touch grainy as its a jpeg edit rather than a RAW edit.
I've just splashed £15 on upgrading my flickr account to a pro one and uploaded another 50 or so shots. The shots will also now be available at their original size (all be it in jpg format) directly from flickr which should save steve a bit of hassle uploading and re-scaling etc. Plus I have unlimited uploads which will help for events in the future.
