the e16se doesn't require massive amount of setting up
the airflow meters are what go wrong on them they don't take kindly to air filter your better off with the standard air box and a good panel filter

just make sure the timming belt has been changed have the timming setup and the CO level checked it will only require four wires to be run correctly.

Hi chip i'm finally back at work now HA

converting 1 to run twin 40's is quite simple use a 1.4sr distributor and coil inlet manifold and lowering alternator bracket just make sure the 40's are jetted correctly for the 1.6

Another possible route would be to get hold of a set of 2L 16v injectors which directly fit, change the fuel pressure regulator to compensate and then get it mapped to suit as the injectors have a wildly different spray pattern.

this doesnt always add greatly to the power but driveability wont be sacrificed and the torque figures do go up!

Good lad

Might be best to wait till after the new year though, as my cossie looks like being about february till its on the road (which is cool as my 30th birthday is 5th of feb)

Either that or i'll drag her along in a couple of months when i come up there in the cossie?

Bring a knife, some rope, and other things that might be needed to torture the local DVLA office into letting it on the road fixing it mechanically is easy, but the paperwork is killing me
