Default Focus RS de-cat and engine management light?

My Focus RS has a de-cat which causes the engine management light to come on. Is there any way to get the light to stay out?

I understand that Bluefin etc will override this but I don't want to go up that route.

Cheers

http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/showdetails.php?id=71

Available here, however hatefully expensive seeing as its just a few resistors.

Something cheaper here, looks more of a cut and wire in yourself job though.

You can make them yourself for only a few pence, there are guides around on the interweb of how to do it

Can't you just cable tie it to somewhere under the car or does that cause a MIL fault of 'out of range lambda' ??

JAmes.

MIL will sort it unless theres another fault you didnt know about.

I thought mine was on as there was no MIL. Turned out it was an abs fault code which i cleared using my dreamscience. Took ages before i realised you could check codes with it!
