Default Side exit exhausts...............again

Right I ve got 2 touring car style pipes to be fitted, the problem now is, Im going to have less than an inch ground clearance.
Now the idea is to build a new tunnel into the car and the pipes to exit through the rear quarter panel but............

do I cut the body work up as its a pretty clean car

Opinions please

Im afraid its function over form , if you are worried dont use them ! Would be interested in seeing what you have tho , ground clearance isn't an issue for my racecar so the look of them is less important .

side exit as tony says , is more for function , i run one on mine purely for the fact that there is then less exhaust for me to have a problem with

Pete,

Don't do it!!!!!!!

Those touring car pipes are too big and you will loose all you retro car cool!

I've seen that new axle of yours and its a pukka bit of kit. Spend the exhaust money instead on ditching the cart springs and four linking the back end to make the most of it.
