defaced Forum.....
XR2.com just been defaced....
Just in the afternoon a friend send me a québec forum which have been defaced betweeen the sending of my friend and the receipt of his mail....
Shitty porky crakers...

Mate of mine lost his forum not long ago, similar kind of thing......although with that one, they managed to hack the web-hosting company and kill every single website hosted there. Corrupted all .htm, .html, and .php files in the process of doing it...

this does seem to be getting to be something of a fashion at the moment 
I know of a couple of focus forums that have suffrered recently. Stoopid little wasters with nothing better to do than disrupt other peoples social time

My site has been done over big time! 
The hack has basically replaced all PHP and HTML files to a single 269byte file.
This is how they do it:
Theres a security loop hole in PHP BB's (like this one) running any version prior to 2.0.11
What they can do is create themselves there own forum administrator account and then can access your web server or run scripts etc.
Its like they get into the website by sneaking through the back door with a fake ID.
Ive got the main page up for www.newtechpirates.com (with a nice little animation about hackers

As long as passionford is running version 2.0.11 of phpBB it should be safe.
If not its a sitting duck....
