Nah, my Black one has retired, sort of, now it's just a nice fast road car. 345 bhp wasn't enough!

I'll be bringing my Silver one:

Any excuse to post this one too :

If they involve racing you around at the same time, then yes please!

All but the 9.45 one, as I think I'm going to have a steady start to the day.

How do I pay you / him? Cash on the day ok?

Fancy watching from the passenger seat? Won't be as quick round the bends as your Pug, maybe a tad quicker down the straights

You can show me the proper lines that I forget to use now I have more horses to hang on to!

worst action day ever!

How many red flags and the quality of driving was awful - people seem to forget the no overtaking bit in the corners yet there were signs clearly visible!

i got to agree, i have never seem so many red flags, truely shocking

the standard of cars was pretty shit too

and like wise the standard of driving

i was soooo glad i wasnt out on track, would had wound me up a treat,

i had a passenger rid with sib and we spent about an hour talking in pit lane waiting for all the carnage to be cleaned up

but we had a good session, with no red flags, we were out first, but soon caught the back markers, as the car and driver were awesome and was flying

Was pretty bad today, always get a fair few crashes on these days as any one can take any type of car on, and rag it beyond their limits for just Ł30

The no overtaking signs are a pain in the butt when you have good brakes, or decent suspension - glad on the RSOC days and normal Combe track days they remove them and you use common sense instead.

Saw a couple spins and a couple people cut me up badly when trying to get passed them, including another Evo owner who basically blocked me overtaking by running down the wrong side of the track

Pleasure Spiky, was good to catch up while we stewed in the pit lane
Was a good session, would have been better still with other similar cars, but it's always fun overtaking people whether they have 100 or 500 bhp.

Would have liked to been out on their session, as said they were shifting. Pete, you gotta come find me at ND next weekend, come out for a lap or two. Was good taking a few different and new people out with me today.

i was getting pissed off with the crappy old saabs they were terrible drivers and spent to much time sliding off the track lol. the one that went up in flames was cool to watch. i hate saabs lol.... gutted for the m3 driver who totalled his m3 although it was quite amusing at the same time. there were some cars being pushed dangerousley beyond there limits like the tit in the box standard rover 416 sli on 13 inch steelies and standard suspension, he was to dangerous and was lucky not to kill him self.

Sib your evo is rapid and you pretty dominated them all when out.

Matt i did see you but was to busy running from wasps to speak lol

Host them up please, be interesting to see what it looked / sounded like. I have a new exhaust fitted that makes the car really really quiet to pass the noise test. Would like to hear it

Getting a remap on the 20th to get a tad more power and to get rid of the Rich fuel smoke that pours out the back of the car... I reckoned on 7 mpg on track

Saw your car parked up near merlin but didnt spot you near it Si.

I had a great day in my clio but it was a shame how far behind the sessions ended up running, not really combe's fault though, they cant stop people crashing and I just turn up on action days expecting it to be mayhem, if you want to enjoy the circuit in a calmer enviroment its totally different on a trackday.

I'll carry on doing both, I like how busy it is on action days, but I also like the chance to drive the track properly on trackdays

I thought it was you, taking it steady home, then suddenly you shot off up the road.

It was clear all the way up so I thought I'd maybe try and keep up with ya

Always happy to oblige with a bit of throttle application!

Saw you once by the www.weekendracer.co.uk stand, but you were busy talking shop with someone. Saw your car parked up, but missed you again the rest of the day.

Glad the budget track tool is allowing you to get some track action in

Si B, were you having any problems on the day, only I thought previously you were doing 1:17s round there in your evo but this weekend you were more like 1:22 or so my mate reckoned?
Is that just different tyres, or traffic on the day?

probably being careful to avoid the inexperienced wankers.....

chip do you know a young lad from bridgwater called daniel potter he has a mk1 clio with a 172 lump just like yours, he got his own tag "eurospeed technoligies" . he seems to know his stuff with old renaults, i trusted him to fit a gearbox in my old 19 16v then nearly died whilt driving home and 2 subframe bolts fell ot and the anti roll bar fell off.
