my mate has an erst and he wants to put all the running gear in a cabriolet how easy is it to do and what has to be done other than putting the engine in etc cheers

its an easy job if you know where everything goes
longest part is the loom if you want to do it neatly. i cut the old loom in my mates cabby before the back lights & then put in a complete rst loom and soldered connections for the stuff that disappered up a pillers etc. quicker & bodged way would be to prepare an rst loom for just the management which will leave you with 4 wires to connect & the dash doesn't need to come out, but this leaves the original 3i wiring
it took the two of us about 12hrs all in & running because he needed it for work on the tuesday morning
