whats the different options for diff hangers and pollying the rear end (on a 4x4 saff)........cheers Pete.....

out of all the mods i did to my saff suspension, the single thing that made the biggest improvement was fitting solid rear beam mounts, totally transformed the rear, felt sooo much more stable into corners and at high speed it was almost unbelivable.

and not much worse for noise over the polys i took out!

imo fitting a poly diff mount and solid beam mounts is to harsh for road use, id go with solid beam moounts and a std good condition diff mount...

the back end is polly bushed apart from the one's ur ment to leave out......are u onabout the solid mounts that Rich does...???

I can second this having a set on mine too - You find that driving on the limit of grip in corners is much easier and the feel is totally different to the standard rubber bushings.

As for polybushing the rear swinging arms - don't bother, absolute garbage - Stick a set of brand new shperical bearings in (GGR stock them once again) and then if you really really want, a polybush diff mount - but that might transmit a bit more noise.

That is if you are keeping the standard beam of course

ive been telling people for "yrs" to fit alloy beam mounts but not many listen ......they all say " i bet it's a bit harsh"

"1 say " " you wouldn't even know they were on your car "

they are only very noisy when you have solid diff mount end of chat

Marco i have solid beam mounts and a ggr diff mount in my saff,and there isnt much noise,well the mongoose drowns it out

......so i want beam mounts not diff mount.....but should i get a polly diff mount.........

Pete i run both with new standard ford arm bushes,and it is fine,and very sure footed at the rear
