1.bluefin better than custom live map = joke
2.forge actuator makes a standard turbo hold 24psi with bluefin = bigger joke
3.bluefin has be hacked and renamed TUNA by rsoc boy racers = even bigger joke
4. newbie has just been brainwashed in parting with a custom map for a bluefin aka tuna generic map = total muppet!

A car that orignally cost 20k has been totally destroyed by a few peeps that used to roam in corsa and nova's with daddy's money and think that they know better than respected tuners! what is it with these spanners?
i love the bit where on an advert for a focus rs and its been owned by one of these guys its says serviced by my mate 'focus rs specialist, another words working from drive way at weekends as they work fulltime elsewhere and couldn't afford to pay tuner/dealer prices; and thats supposed to be a good thing!

307bhp from 18psi? anymore crap you guys want to bring over!
and is the whole of the RSOC gonna join in?

I swear i swa your car at SCC a couple of years ago! thats right it was yours that was overboosting! then damaged the head due to some sort of actuator setup by a forum member and caused the head to warp or soemthing wasn't it? remember the number plate and how we had a great laugh there!

Yep was at SCC, and it was 1 valve melted and yes down to actuator setting but see the date on that graph? Well thats after SCC had sorted the car so infact mine was set up by a respectable tuner. nowt to do with RSOC or mates. Unless you are now gonna say SCC are crap too?

Would you like to carefully tell everyone on here 'HOW' you managed to do that? and who set the actuator setting? i believe it was someone from that forum from what i heard and no it was not scc that caused the problem! and it was something to do with too much boost!

No need to explain anything. The fact remains SCC set my car up and the figures in the graphs posted are what it ran after they set it up.

I think if you read back through the first post of the thread you will be reminded what the chap was asking as you've obviously forgotten.

Its clear that BF will be fine for running 300 and well beyond.

If anyone else cares to know anything about the FRS I suggest visiting the RSOC FRS section where 6 - 7 years worth of FRS knowledge is freely available and keyboard warriors such as morph aren't tolerated.

I'm happy to say it was my cock up that melted the valve, running 28psi on a std turbo means the fuelling can't keep up and hence it ran way too lean and melted a valve, theres no issue with that at all.

Did you read that right 28psi on a std turbo, so the turbo is fine. I suppose if it had been livemapped and ran 28psi I think the valve would have been fine.

Moral of the story don't run 28psi with BF. Run 21psi with BF and with other stuff like decat, gen2, manifold you'll be running in the 300s without any problem at all, if you don't agree with that then you basically saying SCC can't tune an FRS.

your all pissed if you think a standard frs turbo will do over 300 bhp no matter what mods youve done to your cars! and rolling road read out can be fiddled by the controller believe me as i know how easy this is to do! also for the record ask people like harvey gibbs ian howell etc if a standard frs turbo is capable of over 300bhp and you wont get the answer you all want thats for sure!

Must be a RR operator consipracy in the UK and beyond to make every FRS owner think they are making more power than they actually are.

The more it goes on the better this thread gets.

Now people even question factual info.

I love it.
