Default Website gurus.....

Currently i have a free website and a eccomerce shop that i think is 60 quid a year. I have 5 domains linked to sites.

Im thinking of paying out for a proper site doin that will rank high in google etc to make the eccomerce side earn me money rather than do a sale here and sale there.

1st question is, i like my eccomerce site and know how to use it etc, can i just get a website made then get the shop linked so the site will get the hits and i can carry on with the shop as is?

How much would i be looking at for say a 3 page site with link to my shop?

high ranking in google isnt that easy unless the keyword(s) you have optimised has very low competeting pages in google

do you know much about SEO?

what is it you sell? PM me if you like as it might not be allowed on here

Pop me over a PM with more details and I can offer you some advice

In terms of being alot more helpful:

Yes you can have a fresh website made which is well optimised for search engines. You can then link to your shop from this. If the person doing the website is clever enough, the whole thing will be seamless

You may wish to think about integrating everything into one website though. This will further help with optimisation in terms of people will be able to search directly for your products rather than searching for your website through google and it will appear completely seamless.

You also need to think about accessibility. Also get together a list of websites which you like, not only because of their looks but how they work and the overall functionality.

What shop do you use at the moment? Give me a PM and I can discuss further with you otherwise you'll get told off for trading etc!

Cheers
Tim
