Default Obtaining a V5

First of all sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section.

Is it possible to obtain a V5 for a 1953 Ford Popular that comes with absolutely no paperwork or history?(all there is the car and with number plates) If so, how would you go about it.

Many thanks in advance for any advice available

I would guess either contact Swansea or go to a local DVLA office. Should be able to find where on Internet.

You need a V62 form from the post office.

That would not surprise me they have told you that, i guess it has the original number plate still on it? i know its sounds like a stupid question but is there no chassis number etc old tax discs, do you know who the last owner was etc, prob have to dig hard to get it sorted out, dvla prob sold the plate on knowing them.

hope u get some good luck with it, but there is always the alternartive
