Whos cars don't start after 2weeks?
As its winter my car is often bein left covered up for upto 2weeks at a time, outside, without bein driven, when i do go to drive it it doesn't start on its own power and quickly needs to be wired up to another car or battery to give it the minerals. Does anyone else have to do this?

Thats because the average car is drawing 0.1 - 0.2 amps from the battery even when you are not using it. If two weeks = 14 days x 24 hours = 336 hours, then thats between 33.6 - 67.2 amps being taken away from your battery.

Mines exactly the same. I was going to post the same question. Was gonna take cossie for a spin cos the sun was out. Didn't start cos battery was flat . Dug out the charger and it started raining .
Fook that, it can stay in the garage. Don't want to get it wet

Don't think the light in my boot even works!? I went on hol for just over two weeks in the summer, when i got back my car started first time (just)!! It seems that my car doesn't like the cold, i think it gets affected by cold and damp, it used to be garaged until not to long ago and it was never as bad as it is now!?

I had exactly the same problem. Mine would be fine for weeks over the summer, but come the winter if it wasnt run every week the battery wouldnt hold enough power and would be dead when i did come to start it.
I bought a new heavy duty (bigger battery) Bosch silver for my RST and has been fine since.
Also does your started motor turn over slower in winter even if the car has just been out and run for a few miles? Mine did and the new battery cured this.

You ideally need an amps clamp meter. Which you can place around your batterys positive wires or negative wires (whichever fits best) and the meter will tell you how much current is being taken from your battery.
