Default 98 db noise limit at donnington.

hi guys, i have booked a track day for this month at donnington. its a bike track day and a noise limit of 98 db is in place. how loud is this? i dont have a road legal can but in comparison to many other race exhausts it isnt that loud. a friend said his R6 passed with a race can before and it put out 96 db. i too have an R6. ill be taking my spare can with me but dont want the hassle of changing if i can help it. has any body been up there and experienced this lately?

thanks.

take your spanners as donningtons marshalls are really keen on anything remotely noisey

last track day i did nearly every ford got flagged for noise but the guy in his new 911 turbo that was twice as loud never got flagged once

wonder why that was

other than it was one of the instructors that was smoking round in it .

98bd isn't really that loud,so I personally think any stock performance bike will be over.My RST with a Magnex exhaust is 99db,and its quiet in my opinion.Regards,Micky

They were like that at Oulton Park the other week too.
My uncle should have been racing, but the ferrari 360 was 2dbl over, yet a viper, corvette and a million 996/997's were all out.
