I know 'The Youth' (Ste) has one of these. He might be able to give you some advice if you PM him.

Does he?

I know he has a 100e, but never knew he had a 105e as well! (Not a dig, he may well have both for all I know!)

Could well be now thinking about it

Can't be much difference when it comes to things to look out for though.

Anglias do not suit lairy colours.

Keep it period and you'll be cooler than a penguins flipper.

Paint it some modern colour and you will be gayer than a gay gimp in gimp town.

Get over to www.105speed.com and check out the forum on there, theres loads of nice motors in the gallery to give you inspiration.

Heres a few pics to help steer you in the right direction :-

First thing i would look for is a floor, bulkhead, inner wings, outer wings, chassis rails cills, and anywhere else a car of that age will have rust..

Saying it's on the road and running doesn't mean much these days in the way of bodywork, it's deep down you need to look, i recently saw a mk2 escort that had passed an MOT three weeks before, when my mate bought it home about a ton of old cereal box and filler came out of the inner arch when i gave it a kick!

How it passed an MOT i will never know!
