Question C/Dreg metal

We all know about the crap metal ford used on there c/d reg cars just look at the state of most fiesta and escorts!!how comes the d reg 3 door cossie dont seem to suffer as bad as the escorts and fiestas??

people say they were built in germany,but i think most were belgium

the fact cossies are broke/off road in garages probably helps

but got to say ive had 2 saphs with rotted chhassis legs and my 3-door sat in a garden for 5 yesrs before i bought it and the legs are mint

I thought the reason C/D reg mark 4 escorts rusted the way they did was because they were stored in fields before they were sold, it was said that some were stood in water.

Sierra Cosworth shells certainly stood up better than normal Sierra shells against rust and it's probably because they were made abroad from different steel.

I love my fords but they bloody rust.They are as bad as the old bmw,s.
