Default 044 Pump Inlet Question

OK, please only answer this if you know or have genuine experience. No guessing or what youve seen posts please!

Simple question. Is -8 (0.44in ID) hose big enough to supply an 044 pump on a YB running around 400 horses. Ideally I dont want to create any restriction in what the pump is capable of supplying at all regardless of engine power. Pump has -6 out all the way to the rail with -6 returns to collector too.

I know -10 is the ideal size but wanted to know if -8 is large enough.

-8 is 0.44" ID
-10 is 0.56" ID
