T34, greys with standard compression Question
Just wondered how much boost you can get away with on the above spec providing that it is live mapped (probably Stu or Ahmed). I was hoping to run 2 bar held with a .63 and water injection.
1. Is is possible or will the standard compression limit the amount of boost I could run?
2. How much boost from the T34 (.63) roughly will it take to max out the greys?
Thanks in advance
Mark

2.2 bar Don't suppose you know what the lag would be like?
Is that 2.2 bar held or spike? I take it the greys are fine at that boost pressure.

Thanks for the reply, it will be at least have a 360 thrust if I can afford it it will be roller bearing. Would it be ok to use standard cams and head?
What head gasket should I use WRC?

I run a T34 .63 and Greys on standard comp, Been fully mapped by Karl and it spikes 30psi and holds 28psi and it is awsome
It reaches Full boost at 3300rpm so not as laggy as what you would think IMHO

I didn't think a gpA would be sufficient? Think I will go wrc multi layer..
Full boostby 3300rpm is exceptional
Cheers for the example stu will check it out now

ALL I WILL SAY IS THAT I DROVE GUS'S CAR WHEN DONE IN THIS SPEC WITH STU AND IT USED TO GO LIKE F*CK now it has a bit more top end but back then it killed a M3 evo no probs gus runs a cometic head gasket as so do i and that aint been a prob yet its the best grey's conversion I've been in and ive been in quite a few

how much boost you peak at isnt going to effect lag really, as you can still wind lots of timing on with the map at the bottom end of the boost spectrum.
higher cr like this will be far less laggy than if you dropped the cr too.

Why not get it done now until the engine needs a rebuild, then get 500 ponies

i agree paul
t34 and greys goes like fook
i dont see the point in bothering with any more in my opinon of course
i cant use what i have on the road these top speed stuff doesnt interest me and car is great (will be when i sort handling and tyres) on track
good enough for me

Tiff, if it's coming apart for a h/g I'd go for the full monty and rip the lot out and rebuild, just to save on expense in the long run. Don't want to re-use the wrc head gasket

As for Figures i havent had it on a RR or anything yet as i am not too bothered. I will get it on when there is a shoot-out of some sort
But i would say it is around the 360-370bhp mark
