Ever locked your keys in the car? Look Here
This will only work for people with 2 remotes for thier car.
Read this in a free paper given out in London of an evening.
What to do if you lock your car blipper in the car
If the spare keys are at home, call someone there on their mobile from your mobile. Hold your mobile about a foot from the car door and have the person at home hold the spare blipper to their mobile and press the unlock button. The sonic message should transmit through your phone and unlock your car so you can retrieve the keys.

no more Granada's for me
My car don't have a remote, but can someone try this. you only need to walk 3 or 400 yards up the road ring ya misses on her phone and try it. ya dont need 2 fobs to try it... someone do it and post the outcome, i'm really interested. the thing top gear did years ago about holding the fob near your ear and unlocking the car from further away than normal works but this one i'm clueless as to whether it would... so some one try it

Maybe a stupid comment but if the radio signal is coming out of one phone and INTO the next phone, maybe the alarm would pick it up on the incoming

Haters? you mean people with a basic ounce of intelligence. The two are rather different.
Infra red comment is hilarious too - Infra red, remarkably turns to sound waves, picked up by a microphone that is moved by sound pressure waves, then is transferred to a digital signal by the phone and appears out of the other end of another phone, out of the speaker, which moves in free air to create sound pressure waves and remarkably, MIGHT JUST create infra red... HAHA
What planet are you dafties on?

i once put the keys to my old evo down in the boot and then closed the boot without thinkin. i was at a show in donnintgton and it took about 12 guys 4 hours to brake in without damaging the car. wish i has a spare blipper haha.
the 12 guys by the way was like one at a time having a go to pick the lock and slipping things between the seals and stuf

ok infared no its fucking light.
But as you know a phone will click and make noises with speakers and shit and the same way a key fob will transmit radio signals which are picked up on the phone mirophone which you will not hear.
Only a guess

radio waves are a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
You put a phone next to a speaker and the electromagnetic waves cause electron movement in the wires and circuits of your speakers/amps.... its called interference.
