Deleting antivirus help

Installed an antivirus that is shit. Want to uninstall it but cant. been to add and remove programs but its not there. Any ideas?

Make sure you have only one antivirus and install avast,http://www.filehippo.com/download_avast_antivirus/ its free and very good.

Ive been using it about a year and my pc runs great with no virus, and its very quick to catch them.

ive never had any problems with my pc running slow or freezing since i stopped using the intivirus stuff. theyre scams to get you to pay for an increased service after deliberately infecting yuou with a virus themselves i reckon. ive been using none for about 2 years now without problems. at least once a year i used to have to put it into the pc shop to get repaired after contracting viruses.
