I've been using Denso Iridium's for about 4 years on customer cars and never had a problem. We also used them in our T/A cars, one won the championship, and one was 3rd.

I have found them to be sensitive as well, if they ever get fouled they never seems as good afterwards, I run denso and after hitting the hard cut they are a bit lumpy at idle until done a few miles again, I've never tried the NGK christian mentions though.

Just one example, there are plenty.......
NEVER NEVER NEVER run Denso's plugs especially the Iridiums in the RB engine. They cost me some 8000 Gbp in parts alone back in 2005 when I developed my setup.
They dont like high combustion pressure or the SLIGHTEST bit og of detonation/pinging, they will through the ceramic right away.
I went through, 12 JUN Cosworth pistons, one complete cylinder head, Two engine blocks and 6 valves.let alone the hours taking everything apart and examining and building a new engine every time.
Forget the fancy plugs mate, run only NGK's and no kidding, its the cheap cobber types that kick's @@s! Go for BR9ES Ive done almost 20K miles using the same set since engine running in, and still going. They retail at some 17 Gbp for a set of 6
..
Just my 2 and experiences.

This fella Nick has had problems, which he puts down to plugs, so your reasoning is that he knows best, unlike people like myself, and others, who use Denso and have never had a problem in years. The most common problem with plugs is people not using the correct heat range,
