Denso Iridiums are crap IMO. The ceramic insulators break up.

NGK are far better IMO.

I've been using Denso Iridium's for about 4 years on customer cars and never had a problem. We also used them in our T/A cars, one won the championship, and one was 3rd.

I have found them to be sensitive as well, if they ever get fouled they never seems as good afterwards, I run denso and after hitting the hard cut they are a bit lumpy at idle until done a few miles again, I've never tried the NGK christian mentions though.

Just one example, there are plenty.......

Forget the fancy plugs mate, run only NGK's and no kidding, its the cheap cobber types that kick's @@s! Go for BR9ES Ive done almost 20K miles using the same set since engine running in, and still going. They retail at some 17 Gbp for a set of 6 ..
Just my 2 and experiences.

Sounds like your plugs are too cold,

This fella Nick has had problems, which he puts down to plugs, so your reasoning is that he knows best, unlike people like myself, and others, who use Denso and have never had a problem in years. The most common problem with plugs is people not using the correct heat range,

We've seen LOADS of Denso plug failures and don't use them atall any more. They are commonly spoken about in the Jap tuning world. I just found one example to highlight my point. They DO lose the ceramic insulator and its not a risk I'd want to take.
