Default Mondeo GEar box oil

I went to the local motor factors but they book says refer to owners manual for the grade of gear oil. I dont have the manual

Anyone know what oil i need for the mondeo 2.0 Tddi gear box and how much?

you can get red or greeny brown gearbox oil i have always used the greeny brown gearbox oil and never had a problem but i coudnt tell u the grade u need u will have to ask at ford mate

mate the colour doesn't have alot too do with the type of oil, there all different viscosity's and colours depending on manufacturer.

if it was a petrol i could tell you exactly mate cos i have the petrol manual here, but it's not so i can't

someone wil come along with the correct grade, have you tried the net yet i'm sure a little bit of searching will come up with correct grade try searching mondeo tddi gearbox oil in ebay and see if you can get the right grade from there then just pop into your motor factors with the number

Is it not the MTX75 gearbox in the Mondeo? If so, you'll need the specific MT75/MTX75 gearbox oil - available from all good factors for Ł15 for 5 litres

I have just been in the garage and found the bottle i put in our TDCi

EP 75W/90 Semi Synthetic
