Father-in-law got one the other day, said he was going to take it to the bank to get £50 for it, when the wife pipes up, "don't do that, put it on Ebay"
I thought to myself, "yeah right, who's gonna pay more than that for it"

.....So i logged into Ebay and they're going for £80 an up Suppose the longer you keep it, the more it will appreciate in theory.

my little sis found one in her piggy bank but it was before i knew anything about it. she was lookin for the oldest coin and said 'hey this 20p doesnt have a date' oh well we said haha. couldnt find it when i found out they were worth alot.

My girlfriend has got 1, they are worth a shit load i wouldnt sell it for £100, 1 sold on ebay on the 1st july for £1 million pound sterlling!!!!! To some coin collector. Their are only 2% left in circulation, most of the 1's on ebay are fake, they are just the normal 20p pieces. I will get the link for that 1 on ebay wen i finish work so you can all av a look as most of you will think im bullshitin.

I got one of the dateless 20p`s the other weekend in change from a shop. i have put it together with the other coat of arms coins, so have the full 2008 collection.

I dont know if to flog the lot or keep them to see what happens to the prices.

in america they are offering 50 000 for them but u might aswell keep it for like 2 years never know how much u might get
