Default mpeg - CD Audio - how to question...

I have, on two CD-R's a full Metallica concert.... It's in MPEG form so whack it in the PC and you can watch (in really good quality aswell, which impressed me) the concert.

Now what I want to know is, can I rip the audio off it to burn to a new pair of CD-R's, as audio only (not MP3 tho, need it to play in normal CD players) ? If so, how? Also, when doing this would I be able to split the tracks up, edit a few bits out (the intro for example) etc?

All u need is a sound recording program (Sound Forge would be perfect)
Then you go into the windows sound mixer (Volume) and select the recordings source as "What you hear". Then hit record in SF, play the video and it will record all the sound. You can then save it as either mp3 or wav. (Wav is best to burn audio cd's with)
Simple as that
