ok i got a converter to get from mpeg to 3gp
(nokia video format) but got a vid of my mates phone and none of my mates can watch it so is there any way i can convert it to mpeg /avi ??

just do a google search - there areloads of 3gp to avi converters - quite shockingly i found that a 91kb vid off the noka 6230 translates to a 4mb AVI with sound

 

Did anyone find it then? as I wouldn't mind getting it too, but rather it saved as mpeg if poss...

 

Why not just play the 3gp vid in quicktime

 

The vid's from my nokia phone wont play on quick time

you can convert them in MS moviemaker

 

What is MS Moviemaker?

Think I have this on the XP pc downstairs

 

If they are 3gp files on your phone then they will.

All the ones I created on my 6230 played fine in QT.

 

i never did find any think to do this but i have one that makes them in to avi thats good anothe for me oh and i dont just keep them 3gp so i can send to mates and they can watch them also there bigger pic when converted to avi

 

WIll Windows Media Player play avi tho? As I downloaded Resident Evil 2 as an avi and it wouldn't play it properly
