There is lots of different shades of imperial blue.
When i had the back end of my car repaired they matched the colour from the car and mixed it themselves, any good bodyshop should be able to do it for you!
Edit: I just noticed your from Doncaster, im in between Doncaster and Barnsley, I can recommend i good place where i got mine done if you like?

If u cant get down a bodyshop any paint suppliers can do it for u mate, and most will colour match!! If you just want the paint to do it yourself most bodyshops wont sell it over the counter but if your actually looking for somewhere to paint it too as said any bodyshop will sort u out, most colours have a few shades so can be a pig to match but bodyshops have colour charts/chips so they can match it as best as poss, as the vents are seperate anyway isnt as bad as having to have a panel blended!!

thanks mate. everything helps.
the whole p100 is resprayed about 6 years back from a bare shell as a cossy P100. but ive decided i want a vented bonnet and the streightest one i could find was magenta.
so theres no rush but i want it done as good as possible obvs.

Sorry mate just realised u meant a bonnet not just the vents, itll need blending into the wings anyway unless ur not too fussed as theres not much chance of it matching specially if the paint on there is 6yrs old lol.
I painted the gfs car in moonstone blue a few years back using ici paint, had 2 have some more mixed up the other day to paint a S1 arch kit and morette lights and althou to most it probably looks ok i cant tell the colours slightly off lol, but looks good enough

hmmm. the laquer was never cut down when it was painted, so the laquer is *really* thick, as the car is used on the road (ive got to confess i prefer to drive my cossy than talk about it).
because the laquer was really thick if i cut it down do u think the paint would still be the right colour. i think i could colour match it could colour match it .
how hard is it to blend paint
